Italy

The land of the Romans and the Renaissance, of food and fashion and of myths and Michelangelo, Italy is an enigmatic mix of fascinating history and culture. As the center of one of the first true centres of human civilisation in the world, Rome makes for a historical safari of ancient proportions. At its heart sits the majestic Colosseum, the largest amphitheatre in the world and an incredible reminder of the power of the Roman Empire. A short distance away is the smallest sovereign state in the world and the religious hub for the Catholic Church, the magisterial Vatican City. Deep within the tangled web of alleys and walkways that make up Rome lies the babble of the Trevi Fountain, featured in the classic romantic film, 'Three Coins in the Fountain' The Italy outside of Rome is no less impressive.

In the south lies the sun-drenched island of Sicily, with its azure oceans and intrinsically Italian way of life, watched over by the brooding volcano, Mount Etna. Up the western coast of Italy is Pisa, where the ever-baffling Tower of Pisa leans nonchalantly over the cathedral of the city. In the north of the country is the one of the worlds indisputable cities of romance - the 'Floating City' of Venice. Set upon a series of islands divided by a number of canals, this wonderful metropolis is home to St Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. It also has been the set for hundreds of films across the years as well as the location of William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. Travel from Venice towards Milan, and you come across the crystalline surface and charming villages of Lake Garda from where expeditions into the snowy mountains of the Italian Alps can be mounted.

England

England, birthplace of Shakespeare and The Beatles, is a country in the British Isles bordering Scotland and Wales. The capital, London, on the River Thames, is home of Parliament, Big Ben and the 11th-century Tower of London. It's also a multicultural, modern hub for the arts and business. Other large cities are Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol and the university centres of Oxford and Cambridge.

This Southern England has some of the historical monuments and beautiful towns. London must-see attractions, including Big Ben and St. Paul's Cathedral, the iconic church famous throughout the world. History buffs are sure to be delighted on the visits to Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of William Shakespeare and a town that brings to life what life was like in 16th-century England; mysterious Stonehenge; the fascinating Roman ruins in Bath, once used over 2,000 years ago for bathing and socializing; and Hever Castle, the 13th-century, double-moated castle and childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Enjoy a walking tour of Hampton Court Palace's gardens, with their sparkling fountains and ornamental flower displays. The magnificent Salisbury Cathedral, consecrated in 1258 and home to the best preserved original Magna Carta. From the vibrant city of London to the relaxing, seaside town of Brighton, this Southern England tour is a vacation of a lifetime!

Greece

Greece is a country in southeastern Europe with thousands of islands throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas. Influential in ancient times, it's often called the cradle of Western civilization. Athens, its capital, retains landmarks including the 5th-century B.C. Acropolis citadel with the Parthenon temple. Greece is also known for its beaches, from the black sands of Santorini to the party resorts of Mykonos.

Stunning scenery, sun-soaked beaches, the crystal-clear Aegean Sea, and tasty Greek cuisine… Mykonos, Greece's most famous jet-set island, has a beautiful seafront village, sandy beaches, famous windmills, and whitewash houses. Here, you'll visit the Church of Agia Kiriaki, renowned for its beautiful icons, and have plenty of time to relax on the beach, walk through the network of narrow streets, sample local specialties, and take optional excursions. In Santorini, still an active volcano, stroll along the cobblestone streets, enjoy the beautiful beaches, savor the local specialties, enjoy tastings at famous wineries, and witness the stunning views.
